Cross-Registration Request

This form is your first step in requesting an opportunity to cross-register for online learning or residential classes. This form is not your registration, and does not give you the right to take these classes. This form is used for tracking purposes only.

*The American Bar Association limits the number of credits a student may take online to one-third of the credit hours required for the J.D. degree. However, students should contact the state board of bar examiners in the state(s) in which they are interested in being admitted to determine what limitations, if any, online learning will have on their ability to sit for the bar exam. New York, for example, as of March 2019, limits online credits to 15. Other jurisdictions may have similar limits. By completing the VLGS cross registration form, you certify that you fully recognize the limitations and potential consequences of taking online classes.
